The Board Members of the The Michael H. Sheridan and Judy W. Sheridan Center for the Arts Foundation, Inc.

Judy Sheridan.  Chairperson
Judy Wilson Sheridan has been a Realtor and active as an officer in both local, state and property associations. She worked for major developers in Tallahassee prior to owning and brokering Wilson Realty of Tallahassee, Inc. In addition, to sales and property management; she developed, designed and marketed new construction. Her love of theatre began thru her travels and her involvement locally has been through fund raising and backstage management.

Mike Sheridan.  Vice-Chairperson.
Mike Sheridan spent his entire career in the Insurance Business and was the founder of FBMC Benefits Management Co. He also bought and sold other companies and founded Worksite Communications Co.

Michael was a local actor in many productions at local theaters such as Theatre Tallahassee. He has written, published and produced three plays at Theatre Tallassee or Florida State University, including winning the FSU New Horizon selection.

He is the founder of the Irish Repertory Theater.

Belinda France.  Secretary.
A multi-year designee as one of Florida Trend’s Legal Elite, Belinda T. France has been an attorney practicing in Tallahassee, Florida for more than 33 years.  While concentrating her practice in the areas of estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate, Mrs. France also has extensive experience in representing individuals and business entities in federal tax matters, and business entities on formation, operation, reorganization, sale, and dissolution.  Mrs. France has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Tampa, a Juris Doctorate from Stetson College of Law, and a LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida.

David Watson.  Treasurer.
David Watson is the co-founder (with his wife, Jane) of VR Systems, a major provider of elections management software.  In 2009 David joined the board of the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra.  He served 4 years as Treasurer and 4 years as Board Chair.  He has played a part in the TSO’ s recovery from the Great Recession, doubling the extent of its activities.  In 2018 he joined the board of The Florida Center for Performing Arts and Education, and now serves as its President.

Agnes McMurray.  Director.
Agnes R McMurray is Chair of the Board of FBMC Benefits Management, Inc.  She was employed by the company in operations and management roles since 1985 and has served as a director since retiring in 2000.   In 2001 Agnes opened McMurray Project Management Services, providing grant writing and management for State grants in the North Florida region.  In 2011 she returned full time to FBMC for 6 months as Interim President. Agnes is actively engaged in the community and volunteers with environmental and political organizations.  

Cameron Jackson. Director.
Cameron Holds an BFA in Theatre from New York University and MFA in Theatre from The University of Alabama and soon a PhD from the university of Lincoln in the UK. Following a successful career in professional theatre, and recognized as fellow of the National Theatre conference, he has held leadership and teaching posts at four major Universities spanning the last 25 years.

Anita Favors.  Director.

Anita R. Favors retired as City Manager of Tallahassee, Florida, serving from 1997-2016. Her career spans 40+ years in state and local government in Kansas and Florida. Serving on national and international corporate and non profit Boards, she is an avid supporter of the performing and visual arts and is active through many social  organizations which support the arts . As a 20 year member of the national “Links” organization, she has helped to establish a local Arts Academy for youth, providing exposure, art experiences, and opportunities for college scholarships to students with an interest in the arts.
